The PGA Tour’s next stop is in Louisana for the only team event on the schedule.
In 2016 the Zurich Classic was converted to a two-man team event.
Prior to Zurich’s conversion, the last official team event on the PGA Tour schedule was the Walt Disney World Team Tournament in 1981.
Its not Disney, but the New Orleans event always attracts the best players on tour.
This week’s field includes: Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Colin Morikawa, Jaoquin Neimann, Xander Schauffele, Cam Smith, and Bubba Watson.
Joseph is paired up with Maverick Mcnealy for his third appearance in the Zurich Classic and his second entry since the format was changed to a team event.
Bramlett is coming off of a solid Sunday in last week’s RBC Heritage finishing with a final round of 64.
Sahith is paired up with Beau Hossler and is competing in his first Zurich Classic.
Theegala has made the cut in his last 4 events entering this week.
Varner will be paired with Bubba Watson in his sixth Zurich Classic.
Harold has top-25 finishes in 3 of the last 5 events entered. Two top-10 finishes at the Players Championship back in February and at last week’s RBC Heritage.
Theegala and Hossler: Thursday – 8:44am; Friday – 2:03pm
Varner III and Watson: Thursday – 12:57pm; Friday – 9:04am
Bramlett and McNealy: Thursday – 1:36pm; Friday – 9:37am
