The PGA Tour moves on to Pebble Beach for the 87th Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The third on the West Coast Swing and the 16th event of the 2022-2023 season, the AT&T is one of the more storied stops on the on the PGA Tour.
Originally hosted in 1937 by the renowned entertainer Bing Crosby and was originally named The Crosby Clambake has featured some of the most notable celebrities in the entertainment and sports world.
The AT&T is contested one three courses, with the cut being pade after 54-holes allowing each player to post a score on each of the course.

The final Sunday round of the At&T will be played on historic Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Pebble Beach has hosted seven Major Championships including 6 U.S. Opens (1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, 2010, 2019), and the 1977 PGA Championship.
The 2000 U.S. Open was the first of Tiger’s three U.S. Open wins and the third major of his historic 15 Majors.

The 75th U.S. Women’s Open will be held at Pebble Beach in July 2023.
In 2001, Pebble Beach was the first public course selected as the #1 golf course in america by Golf Digest.
In addition to the AT&T, Pebble Beach also hosts the PURE Insurance Championship on the PGA Tour Champions.
Despite the history of the AT&T on the PGA Tour it failed to received elevated status, and the larger purse associated with being an elevated event.
With two elevated events back to back after the stop in Pebble Beach, some of the larger names in the game have taken this week off as reflected in the field for the upcoming AT&T.
Despite not being elevated there was a slight bump in the purse for this year’s event.
Last year the field completed for $8,300,000 with $1,566,000 going to eventual winner Tom Hoge. This year the purse is $9,000,000 with the winner pocketing $1,620,000.

Missing Winners
Several past champions at the AT&T will not be in the field for this event.
Tiger Woods won his only AT&T back in 2000, and will be absent from this year’s event due to recovering from injuries and paring down his PGA Tour calendar to the majors and several elevated events.
Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson both multiple time winners at the AT&T were suspended by the PGA Tour after their defection to LIV Golf.
Mickelson is a five time winner (1998, 2005, 2007, 2012, and 2019), and Johnson has won twice (2009, 2010).

Joseph Bramlett
This will be Joseph’s 8th trip to Pebble Beach Golf Links.
He has five appearances in the AT&T.
Joseph was also in the field for the 2010 U.S. Open, and the 2019 U.S. Open missing the cut in both Majors that were played at Pebble Beach.
In his five appearances for the AT&T Bramlett has made the cut cut three time with his best finish of 18th place coming in 2020.
So far this season Joseph has played in nine events.
His best finish was a tie for ninth at the Cadence Bank Houston Open back in November.
Joseph’s most recent finish was a tie for 13th place at the Farmers Insurance Open.
