Amari Avery‘s perfection wasn’t enough to tip the scale in the U.S’ favor at the Arnold Palmer Cup. Despite going 4-0 in her matches this week it wasn’t enough to defeat Team International that edged the United States. 33 to 27.
Avery is currently rank #14 in the Womens Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), in addition to the Curtis Cup win last month, she finished 57th at the Women’s D1 Golf Championship.
In her freshman season at the University of Southern California, Amari had three wins at the ICON Invitational, the Gold Rush, and the NCAA Stanford Regional where she edged eventual NCAA Champion Rose Zhang.
