LIV Golf heads to the land down under for the third event of their second season.
After a month break in the schedule from the Orlando tournament the new golf league makes it’s first trip to Australia.
With LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman, and several other LIV Golf players being Aussies, it wasn’t a surprise when the Australian stop was added to the 2023 LIV Golf schedule.
The Australian LIV Golf event will be played at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide.
During the break, the first major championship of the year, the Masters, was played with LIV Golfer doing remarkable well.
Three of the top five finishers were from LIV Golf.
Masters Finish by LIV Golfers
Brooks Koepka – T2 | Phil Mickelson – T2 | Patrick Reed – T4 |
Joaquin Niemann – T16 | Harold Varner III – T29 | Talor Gooch – T34 |

With the most surprising being Brooks Koepka having the top spot on the leader board for most of the weekend. It shouldn’t have come with much surprise for those who have been paying attention to LIV Golf.
Brooks won the last LIV Golf event in Orlando two weeks prior to the Masters. The win in Tucson was also the second Brooks has won on the LIV Golf series, and the only repeat winner to date.
Even more surprising was Phil Mickelson’s charge up the leader-board on Sunday to finish in 4th place.
