The LIV Golf series heads to Arizona for the second event of its sophomore season.
After the kickoff event of 2023 in Mayakoba, LIV Golf makes the first stop of its USA tour at The Gallery Golf Club, just outside of Tucson in Marana, Arizona.
The Gallery Golf Club has hosted two PGA Tour events. The WGC-Accenture Matchplay Championship was played at the Gallery in 2007 and 2008. Tiger Woods won the 2008 event by beating Stewart Cink in the final. Of Tiger’s 83 wins his only win in Arizona was at the Gallery.
With the expanded schedule in 2023 to 14 events, LIV Golf needed to add additional stops to its 2022 schedule which consisted of only 8 events.
Tuscon is the first of eight event LIV Golf has scheduled in the United States.
