The PGA Tour moves onto Las Vegas, Nevada for the 40th playing of the Shriners Children’s Open.
The third event of the 2022-2023 wrap around season received a bump in the purse for this years event.
This year the field will be competing for a total purse of $8 million, up from $7 million in 2021.
Last year Sung-Jae Im took home $1.26 millions for this first place finish, and the winner this year will take home $1.44 million.
Two past winners, Kevin Na (a two time winner) and Bryson DeChambeau, will not be in the field due to their banishment from PGA Tour events as a fallout from their defection to the LIV Golf Series.

Cameron Champ
This will be Cam’s 4th trip to Las Vegas hoping for improvement following missed cuts in 2020, and 2019.
Champ’s best finish at TPC Summerlin was 28th place in 2018.
A slow start to the 2022-2023 season, Cam missed the cut at the Fortinet Championship in September.
Joseph Bramlett
This will be Joe’s 4th trip to TPC Summerlin for the Shriner’s Children’s Open. His best result was a 43rd place finish in 2020.
His 2020 trip to Las Vegas for the Shriners ended early after a 75 on Friday led to a missed cut.
Despite a 2021-2022 season littered with missed cuts, Joseph has opened the 2022-2023 season making the cut in both event he’s entered.
