HV3 was angry coming into Saturday’s third round at the RBC Heritage.
Coming off of a bad break in Friday’s round where an arrent drive led to a call that he didn’t agree with.
A volunteer helping him look for his ball inadvertantly moved it to a different position when it was replaced.
Harold didn’t agree with the ruling which led to him having to return to the tee box.
“I normally put things to the side, but I did not put that to the side. I was very not happy how that paned out….But it was great for me, I responded to it,” Varner noted during his post game interview.
The response was 8 birdies and no bogeys on satudays to jump into with lead at 11-under par.
Varner will be in the final grouping on Sunday at the RBC Heritage.
He will tee off at 1:50pm EST, along side 2019 Open Championship winner, Shane Lowry.
Network coverage begins at 1pm on the Golf Channel and 3pm on CBS.
